mufflers?

i wanna buy a muffler for my v6 but dont know which one would sound the best. i dont wanna buy a dual exhaust just the muffler, which one is the loudest that you guys have seen?

flowmaster 40 or for a cheaper route with about the same sound you can get a thrush weld

Imo, don't bother wasting the money if you're just doing one muffler. The sound won't be worth it. Dual or nothing. It's not that expensive to have a midpipe fabbed and installed. Maybe $350 at the most with 2 mufflers, 2 tips, fabbed midpipe, and labor.

Also, why do you still have a pic of someone elses' Mach 1 in your sig?

OP, your sig says you already have "flowmaster exhaust." Why do you need a new single muffler? I mean if you already have a single Flowmaster, you know it's a waste of money.

Anyway... a Flowmaster single muffler upgrade is like two deep toned farts louder than the stock muffler... I wanted to shoot myself in the head for wasting $110 (muffler+labor).

don't even talk to this guy, hes got fake sig/mods.. and if you do anything to the exhaust you go duals imo thrush divorced duals.

I think he's a troll. I think he's just some kid who wanted to be accepted by a group of people and thought we would be an easy group to get in with (well, we are pretty easy going guys if newbies don't go stepping on toes and acting retarded). So he posted up a pic of a nice Mach 1 thinking all Mustangs look alike (although the sail panels and Mach 1 rocker stripes are a dead giveaway) then threw some fake mods in his sig (and the tail lights in the sig pic are stock, not aftermarket). Then apparently forgot what he put in his sig and started asking about the only thing he knows about on cars, mufflers, in hopes we would think he's a wrench turning car guy.

I actually really like Pypes mufflers. I'm going to use these same mufflers on my new setup.
