headlights

Im sure most of you know that the stock mustang headlights dont light up anything haha. Im going to need to get some news one soon and i wanted to know what you guys would prefer. It would be between just installing some HID lights or buying some halos. Also for your preference do you have a certain brand that you like more over the other?

Thanks

+1 Silverstar's are expensive and have a high failure rate, from what I've heard.

Normally this is where I would say to retrofit your headlights if you go HID, but I have a feeling that suggestion would fall upon deaf ears here. LOL.

Also please, for all the love of God, do not get halos. They do not look good and this is coming from someone who used to own them.

Installation is a cake walk

@Norcal LOL. I had the exact same ones on my 2000. Actually my first post on here was regarding how to wire them correctly. Haha. Glad those things are in my past.

I went with silver stars ultra... and they were bright but still hard to see. i went and bought clear head lights and fogs and corner lights, still wasnt as bright as i wanted, so i bought 8000k bi xenon ebay hi/low hids for the fogs and the headlights. was happy for about a year when one head light went out and decided to try 6000k all way around. Much better and much much brighter. I love them now. i can see more than a block and half. I think other drivers hate mine cause for some strange response i keep getting flashed.

@SN95 If you want cheap HID's under $50 then DDM tuning is the place to get them.

However if you want quality HID's or want to do a proper retrofit check out these guys.
