Engine Clean-up


What up everyone? I'm wanting to clean up my engine (it has a nice coat of dust all over) while im there installing my 50hp CAI (lol im kidding)...What all should I cover up or how do you fellas go about this? I think I have a good idea but Ive never cleaned a Mustang 3.8 engine. Thanks in advance guys

simple green with your engine still warm will help clean it and keep the hood closed. As for detailing your engine bay, not too sure

Also, the write up Maverick linked is what I used. As long as you cover up you air filter and alternator you should be fine. Just dont drench your engine.

dont use that simple green bullshit. first off # 1 Purple Power it's industrial concitrated shit. only 5 bucks for a gallon. use it 3 to 4 times to degrease all that shit and make it nice as a pair of tits. B cup's. # 2 turtle wax all that some bich side walls and the hood. # 3 armorall that some bich till ur high higher then atlantis. and ur done.
