convertible top cover

I didn't know how else to describe it - when the top is down, there's nothing to cover it. A lot of higher-end cars have a contoured cover - I saw a sweet Ferrari with one on Friday, for example. Has anyone made something like this? If it was made out of Fiberglass, it wouldn't be too tough, I wouldn't think. Obviously it's not going to auto-retract, and it would have to store in the back seat or split in the middle for the trunk or something, but there are many days that I could leave the top down all day and just leave it on.

If anyone has done this, or seen it done, I'd be interested to know details.

thank you! those are kinda expensive... I like the Saleen one advertised, but not sure that will fit a V6? The body is the same, isn't it? Anyway it looks good with the light bar. I still might look into making one...
