Muffler Help
After reading tons of forums and articles, I was finally ready to order a muffler. I went to Flowmaster's website and searched for mufflers by vehicle and only got 2 choices, 40 Series Delta Flow or the 50s, both of which are 2" in and 2" out. The stock pipes are 2.25" right? So how does that work? Going from 2.25" to 2"!? Magnaflow's website has so many choices I have no idea what to choose. Please help!

when you say muffler i'm hopeing you aren't planning on a single muffler exhaust...
be smart about this if your going the flowmaster path...just go ahead and go to advance auto and buy some Thrush Welds for around $39 each |

I hope this is not another "Austin-troll" thread... Lol
Don't be like me... Go duals... You won't regret it. Like Mr. 6ER says... Go for thrush welds... (if money is the issue, plus it's more practical)... 99% flow40 results.

I'm going true duals, getting custom pipes at a shop just buying the mufflers separate. So those thrush welds compare pretty well with the flow40s as far as sound and performance? Thanks for the fast responses btw, took almost 24 hours on the other mustang forum site. my first time here.

How much different is it and in what way? I've always been curious about that... I thought they were ALMOST the same...
