Head gaskets

Which gaskets do you guys prefer to use?

I just blew mine

Also on top of that I know most will say P&P the head but I do not have that much money nor time to do it right now... So would it be a good idea to shave the heads a little for higher compression?

Well last time, I got it replaced. I didn't do it myself. And the guy only said that he replaced it. Charged me $1700

just regular ford replacement gaskets will be fine. maybe something a little better if your boosting it or you live at high rpm.

Get head studs... If you shave you heads though, you might need shorter pushrods. Unless it's a small enough amount (less than .010") for the lifter to compensate. But the drop in compression would be minimal compared to what it would cost to mill them. The money would be better spent on porting.. You might go from 9.8:1 to 9.9:1.
