cars acting wierd


so just today i noticed my car acting up. when i went to 2/3 throttle the car would like hesitate to accelerate and when it did accelerate the car shaked wierdly, also the rpms were bouncing around. also, the shift points were not normal and i dont know whats causing this. any ideas?

theres no engine light yet, it might be a misfire idk, how can you check for misfires?

Sounds like the TPS. Check to see if its plugged in. (on the side of the throttle body)

If it is plugged in, it sounds like it has a bad spot in the rheostat. Like it is still in parameters to keep from setting a code, but off enough to be wrong. This can be checked with a DMM to check resistance within the circuit while opening the throttle slowly and checking for gaps or jumps in resistance.
