So I was thinking...

I saw a post just a little while ago about a guy getting a single flowmaster 40 muffler and putting it on his stock v6 exhaust. i figured, hey thats cheap and temporary until i can afford duals. however, all the shops want over 80 bucks to just weld in a muffler. some are even higher. im wondering, should i just save that 80 bucks toward duals and wait it out? or is there some secret place i dont know of that i can get it installed dirt cheap at?

just wait...because $80 makes me laugh...all the shops around here charge $25 to cut one out and weld one in

If you have a friend with a welder or if he knows someone you could do it for free

I have duel h pipes that's what I'd tell hem to get if he had the money

Buddy with a welder.

Cost me $40 for the muffler and install at a shop - old friend of the family. Make friends with a mechanic. Dirt cheap good quality parts and free labor.

Actually I lied. it cost me $48. The extra $8 went to the six pack of long neck Coors for his fridge.
