Error 1019 Help!!!!

Ok well I just got done installing a cam in my mustang. I went to upload my tune and my tuner came up and said error 1019 ecm locked or something like that. I tried uploading other tunes that I have uploaded in the past. It did the exact same thing. I then tried uploading the preloaded tunes and it did the same thing. I then tried retuning to stock and it came up no vehicle detected. I tried multiple times and made sure the connector was connected. I just tuned my vehicle a couple months ago. I also can clear codes and check them if that matters. I tried uploading the tunes again to the tuner, it didn't matter, it just did the same things. I really don't know what to do and it sucks because I can't run my car without the tune.

I need help and SCT is closed until monday and I need to get my car done!!!

Thanks.

Ok well an update here.

I just tried updating my device updater. I then installed the tunes back onto my tuner. I can now get the tune that was on my car before I did the cam swap to load and install which is an improvement. But for some reason I get a 1027 code for incorrect vehicle and a 1009 for no written tune changes. It won't let me install any tune but the one I had on my vehicle. It won't even let me return the vehicle to stock.

I don't fricken know what is going on but this is fricken annoying. I hate tuners!!!!! All they are is problems.

Does anyone know of any tips to try?

I have tried disconnecting the battery to see if it would reboot the computer but it didn't matter.

Also could this matter when I did the swap my I left the key on in the ignition and we disconnected the battery on accident? Could that cause the ECM to lock me out?

Ok well I called, and they gave me a couple things to do. They said check all the fuses to make sure none are blown since I had my vehicle pretty well apart. They said if none are blown then try updating the firmware. I have a question on the firmware, it won't let me return my vehicle to stock so I told them that and they said on your updater click on get stock files. I did that and they are now on my computer. I then updated the firmware and how do I get the stock files back onto my tuner? Or is that just incase you lose all your files when your updating the firmware?

Ok well an update.

I might officially be the unluckiest person on the planet. Ok well after sitting on the phone for nearly 4 hours with SCT Tech support. They could not figure it out so I have to send in my tuner again to have it looked at. Incase you didn't know 6 months ago the last time I did something to my car I had to send it in and they replaced the chip. Now six months later and the time I need my tuner it will likely need a chip.

I am wondering if anyone else has problems with their SCT tuners? Why have I hade 2 tuners fail in 6 months time? It is kind of ridiculous that you spend 379 on a product and have it work then have no vehicle for 2 weeks then it works then again have to wait 2 more weeks without a vehicle to have them fix the tuner.

I am kind of venting but I keep my tuner in a padded foam plastic case. So I don't know why it never works!!!! I bought it brand new too.

Just figured maybe hearing someone else's terrible luck would brighten someones day.

figured. I am not the luckiest person when it comes to vehicles or doing stuff like that. I knew my cam install went to smooth that is why the tuner had to go crap. lol

That must be it!! This totally sucks, and I wish there was more I could do. Most people have no issues, but you got double screwed with sct bugs.

Ya it is ok I know it ain't your fault. Apparently my car is just evil and likes to eat tuners. haha. Well hopefully now this will be the end of having to send it in. If not I will likely never buy another SCT product.

Ok well I have a question.

I was laying in bed last night thinking about my car. This thing is really bothering me. OK well I have a raptor shift light and I installed it like the instructions from their sight. They had me hook up the power wire to the connector next to the PCM that has a red wire on it. I can't remember exactly what that connector is for. But back to the point. I had no problem tuning. Well now recently I bought a wideband A/F gauge. I then connected the power to the red wire of my shift light. I had not tried tuning it since that.

My question is could that be the problem? Because everything works until I turn the key on and that is when the shift light cycles and the wideband does. Could I be over loading that circuit? I have tested fuses with a test light and all the fuses test out. There are only the 2 fuse panels correct? The only thing about this that bothers me is that SCT was able to send me a modified base tune that should have been my stock tune for my car and I was able to load that into my car. Before that I was not able to retune to stock or anything but with that base stock tune I could retune it to stock and nothing else? Could it actually be a software glitch? Or could my gauge and shift light be causing it? No matter what I have to wait for the tuner to come back from SCT.
