in about an hour im gonna go replace the passenger exhaust manifold

any specific tips i should watch out for

how necessary is a high temp sealant for the gasket because i dont have any

i cant figure out how to disconnect the egr where it connects to the exhaust manifold

if any one knows what they are talkin about plz let me know what the deal is.

ive been tryin to twist the nut connecting the two but it wont budge and i dont want to break it

answer:

hammer, adjustable wrench, lotta wd40, pb blaster would have worked better.
good luck to the next person who does this, it aint to fun.

on the upside of things my car is actually noticebly faster now ( much better acceleration!)

thats only because of how BAD the old manifold was.

lastly any one ever reroute where the ac drips out onto the manifold?
(not expecting an answer for obvious reasons)
