chin spoiler issue

hey guys. My awesome girlfriend just suprised me with new chin spoiler for my bday. She got it from AM and they apparently did a shitty job packing it. It's kinda bent and warped looking, i assume they're like this until you get them on..? any of you guys know from experience?? thanks

Just call them up and ask them if that's normal, be nice about it, the people at AM are very helpful.

"the chin spoiler was a little bent but I left it inside and let it warm up a bit so it was more flexable when it came time to install"

pulled off of another thread. i wouldnt worry about it just install it and it should be fine. ive gotten bumpers that were completly warped looking untill i bolted them up and they look fine. just my opinion without pictures..... those would help

I believe they ship the chin spoilers like that so save on space (thus making shipping cost less on their part, seeing as how we get free shipping). You can let it sit out in the sun to loosen it up or use something like a hair dryer to warm it up quicker and gets the bends out of it.

Man, just thinking about replacing it is making my back hurt already! I remember installing that damn thing with all it's 100 bolts and nuts! Plus my floor jack is too big to fit right under the car, I have to raise it from one side first with my stock car jack, then slide the floor jack in the middle front!

One "lowered car" downside I guess...

BTW, get some new OEM headlights. Judging by your car in your avatar. They look extremely fogged.
