Stock air filter?
Do 94 V6 stangs come stock with a K&N filter of some sorts?
i just got one of those cheap cold air intakes off eBay, thinking it was gona be awesome...so I go to install it today and suddenly notice that my air filter says "K & N" on it, which made me go "wtf?", thinking it should probably be some sort of stock ford intake.... do i already have some kind of performance intake? I got the car second hand so i don't know exactly what's all been done to it... also, I didn't install my new CAI but i did take out my current filter for shits and giggles, and noticed that my air filter is connected to this rubber thing that goes into the fenderwell....does that mean I already am getting cold air? |

I don't really get how replacing this with my new CAI would make a difference though cus it seems to still be getting air from the fenderwell. |

cool...thanks.
I know nothing about cars so I may return to this thread in the future for further assistance on the matter. Actually there is something that's worrying me a bit...I live out in the boonies and so I have to drive on gravel to get home...which really sucks cus my rear bumper is pretty much constantly dirty, not matter how fuckin slow I drive on it..... anyways, my concern is that because I drive on gravel every day, is that gona fuck up the air filter at all? with all the dust getting in there and stuff? |

I swear I already posted, but yeah it is less turbulent and will flow more air, keep both filters so your not out of commission when you are cleaning one
