Look at this problem as a good opportunity/excuse to buy new ones!

......that's what I'd tell my wife... Haha

"babe, my headlights are messed up, I could get pulled over if I don't replace them ASAP"....

Lol

I like the stock ones better... If I ever get new headlights... It'd be either the stock/amber or stock/clear corners...

But ya, save yourself from worrying about what kind of material to use for a home-made headlight weatherstripping and just get new ones! ....if budget allows it of course.

I don't think the eBay kind would be so bad... As long as you put silicone sealant around it before installation.

My friend had gotten the $90 headlights from eBay as well... He hasn't complained so far after a yr of having it...

As much as I love AM, look on ebay. You can get a set of headlights like that with new bulbs for under $100 shipped. Just find a seller with good feedback and be sure to seal the headlights with some silicone before you install them. I got my headlights on ebay, sealed them, and haven't had a single issue in the year and a half I've had them (and they spent a good week cover in 1/2" of ice before I got a garage).

I agree with the guys above. I just got stock lamps with clear corners for $90 shipped on ebay. Sealed them twice with RTV and have had no problems. You will likely spend more time trying to fix your seal than you will installing new lamps.

If you go with the clear corners you may want to look at some stealth turn signal bulbs ($17 on ebay). They are clear/chrome when off, but amber when on.

i got my headlights off of amazon, less than 90 shipped, I had zero problems until almost a year, the black plastic strip on the top of one of the headlights started peeling off, and then the bulb in the other headlight went out(these bulbs came with the headlights, so i recently just replaced both bulbs, but they look 1000 times better than my super fogged decade old headlights.
