Ive heard you can gain about 10% more horsepower with a flowmaster dual exhaust, what about a single though

It's not just flowmasters that give you 10% more hp. Getting rid of your ypipe and replacing it with an H or X pipe will give you that 10% more hp, then muffler of choice, they will all give you relative gains

The car is set up for duals, meaning it's easy to add duals. My friends car (audi) isn't set up for duals like their better models are. He can't get duals. I see it as a blessing that ford gave the 6ers room for duals.

oh ok I see what your saying. its a blessing that its easy to put them on but a mistake that ford didn't do it. if ford had done it then it would have made up for the 7 horses that the camaro has over us.

Being set up single keeps the price of the car affordable off the lot. A heck of alot cheaper than some other sports cars for sure. Ford gave us the opportunity to easily upgade the car to duels... if you want. Most people that buy these cars are happy with a single exhaust. When you see them on the road, most are still single. I like the fact that the price off the lot is cheaper and lets ME make the decisions on my upgrades and poweradders.... with the money I saved from buying the lower priced Ford Mustang. OK, maybe what I just wrote is just a bunch of bullshit, but thats my slant right now.

Heh you should've splurged at the lot and got an 8, better starting point for adders. Even if it takes you alot longer to start getting mods, 8.8 rear, 8cylinders, plus those precious cutouts
