Its really not gonna make a difference what spark plugs you get.

Go get the platinum+4 or whatever theyre called, some OEMs, and compare. if you like one set over the other, stay with that one.

OEM. Autolite or Motorcraft coppers unless you have an actual need for colder plugs. Otherwise buying "better" spark plugs is just the equivalent of flushing your money directly down your toilet. I've got a set of NGK iridium plugs in my car right now (bought them when I was a total newbie) and they're worse than the stock plugs my engine had when I bought it. Don't buy into any marketing bullshit about any of those "awesome" plugs.

Also, there aren't really "performance" spark plugs. Just basically plugs designed for different applications.

Copper Core perform the best, have a shorter life duration.
Platinum perform good, last longer.
Autolite, NGK, and Motorcraft.

Got Platinum, but notice ZERO difference and the old ones were almost completely fried and not even close to the correct gap.

I would suggest a plug that has a long life span.

What would you consider best? -The ones that work best or cost the most?

OEM work best in a near stock car. If you want to waste money on something else then go ask for the most expensive at an auto parts store and see how bad they feel.

OEM unless you need to get a step colder.

Of course you could buy "better" ones if you enjoy wasting money.

Answered it perfectly. You won't notice anything from a "performance spark plug". One step colder plugs would be the only upgrade to the spark plugs you should do, but that of course comes when you add boost.

True, and copper plugs (Motorcraft or Autolite highly recommended) are what works best in our engines unless you have a power adder.

Some vehicles work well with certain spark plugs. 99-04 mustangs love OEM plugs as opposed to others. They matter but for once the manufacturer got the OEMs right. Our stock ignition system works great overall.

If you're not going to listen to people with the proper experience with them then you might as well not ask at all.

Yeah man, you're gonna have to trust us on this one. I bought my car with 98k miles on it and when I pulled the plugs they looked like they'd been in the engine for at least 50k+ miles. Swapped in my NGK iridium plugs and the car actually runs worse overall with them. I now have a new set of Autolite coppers I need to get around to installing.

Yep, lots of people have similar experiences.

I'm actually running NGKs but the supercharger changes everything.
