Tires for my V6

I just got back from Goodyear and they quoted me (4) 225/50HR15 KUMHO ECSTA AST tires for $474.00 including $24 per tire for mounting and tire lifetime rotation.

I went online and found https://www.tirerack.com/tires/Sizes...odel=ECSTA+AST for $240 with shipping.

First of all...is this tire OK for stock '99 15x7 rims? I want the most foot for traction. I'm not that interested in the best cornering tire.

Second, why so much at GY?

If I were you I'd get the ones from tirerack. thats what I did. then if you can't mount them your self then go to walmart and they'll mount and balance them for you with the life time rotation. you save a lot of money that way. they are realy good tires and they do corner well

you went to a big business... they will always charge more.

those look like half decent tires.

go for the tire rack ones.
