then you can get some harness ends to splice in or just use crimp ends (female crimp ends) to slide on the fog bulbs (this'll work with HIDs too..it did on mine)
So you're running double the power through the original headlight wiring, fuse and relay? That isn't a safe way to do it at all.

Still run a separate fuse and relay if you want to do this. It'd be very easy to do if you had the VMP wiring harness or something similar. I don't think you want to end up frying wiring, relays or fuses while driving at night.

.
safe or not it worked for years with HIDs installed running on 8gauge wire with a spare fuse in there...worse case senerio you're car catches fire and you get a new one from your insurance company.

Worst case your lights all go out while driving at night and you crash and die. Who insures a V6 anyways

HIDs are actually much lower wattage than most halogen 9007 bulbs so I guess you can get away with it.

I definitely wouldn't recommend it though, especially with halogen lights.

I wish I was in a bar tonight... I gotta work graveyard shift.

I just got a universal fog light wiring kit. Ran the wires where they're supposed to go, connect it to the clear fogs I got from eBay (new-auction) and to the OEM switch from eBay($15)... The kit has everything you'll need (wires+relay+universal switch). I also got the 880 pigtails but if you're planning on putting HIDs, you can skip the pigtails...

Everything totalled to $65... That's the fog lamps+switch+harness... Good luck bro.
