Another Exhaust Question

Alright so I'm ordering a MAC o/r midpipe as well as some flowmaster 40s mufflers. However, do I also need to order a replacement flow tube kit like this one: Pypes 2.5in Stainless Steel Replacement Flow Tube Kit (79-04) at AmericanMuscle - Free Shipping!
or can I just weld the mufflers to the mid? Also, about how much would it be to go to an exhaust shop to have them bend and weld tailpipes to the mufflers or would I be better off ordering some off of summit?

if they are supplying the tubing then yes...at least here...most shops use oem GT tails so that's generally $50 a side...add in the labor and tax and you end up around $150...again that's where i go to. Make sure to price every place you're willing to drive to, and then let each shop know what others are willing to do it for..let them try to work a deal with you. That's how you get a good deal.

Best strategy I picked up off the site is go to some shops and give them quotes you got from other shops. They'll usually try to beat the competition. I shopped around and eventually got it for $175

that works to an extent...sometimes you'll find a shop tell you to go back to them if you try to lowball them. i've done it before though successfully...you just have to find a good middle ground
