CAI Help

What is the sensor after the MAF sensor? And should it be facing the same way the MAF sensor is? Mine's not; facing towards the walls of the intake pipe. One more. Can I clean whatever this sensor is with the MAF sensor cleaner? Thanks

has it been affecting anything?

I ran mine just hanging loose in my engine bay for a day before i could get a bit for my dremel to make a hole for it in the windstar swap tubing and i didnt see a change in anything.

and making it face the right way is no big deal, it would literately take like 2 seconds.

But yeah, you should be able to just rotate it so that it looks like the picture posted from the inside. It's not likely to cause problems either way though.

Yeah it makes pretty much 0 difference, especially on a stock n/a car. But do it if it makes you feel better.

I just installed my Cold Air.. is a gentle hiss/sucking normal? Just a quick question I had

But yes, IAT 99-00 models and early have on, I didn't on mine which confused me at first.

The sound is normal, as long as it's not a vac leak =P which would give you some sort of problem like a shitty idle.

okay well after adding the Cold Air intake my idle went down to 600-700 from 800-1000 rpms at start up

so I'm good, sweet. Some of the rubber things I was scared of having the pipes not all the way in
