Engine Service soon ligth is turned on....

After I cleaned the T.B y noticed the ligth turn on but the cars runs and idle fines welll better than before.... Idk if something happen while cleaning the t.b but i didnt removed anything so idk what the fuck happened..... I also have the exhaust with a leak in the section that unites the header with the rest of the exhaust i have true duals just in case may the engine ligth come on by the exhaust problem?

Take the car to autozone and have them put it on their scanner then come abck and tell us the trouble codes...

Sorry about that...

Do you have a SCT XACL2 or Diable Predator handheld tuner? Do you know someone who might have one?

Try taking the negative battery cable off for 20 minutes...

Put the cable back on it...

Start the car up and let it run for 20 minutes without touching the gas or anything...

See if that helps ya out...

ohh ok I will try that... i dont have a tuner yet.... and there are some autozones over here but is that I dont remember where they r lol damn!!! the nearst I thin it was like 15 miles from here

Idk if this car does this but can the engine ligth turn on when an oil change is needed? is that almost all the car I used do it but idk about the stang

Nope unless it is causing the car to over heat...

Well going to autozone would be the best bet becuase they can put it on the scanner and then tell us the codes...

or you could just unplug the battery for like 10mins and it will reset the computer... lol thats what i do cause i went to autozone and they said that my car was 2 old

desconected the battery for 10-15 minutes put it back and now the ligth is off

i just had it happen, clean your maf. i was doing the same tin as you. it said my maf was bad. but i would go to autozone and have the code run. its not bright to just erase the code.

i didnt notice anything on the car when the ligth cameon so i thougth hell i'm gonna reset this shit

It's going to come back on for a reason lol, it resets the computer but the same popups are going to popup. I put on a cai and duals and put mils on the downflow o2s and my reading said it was running lean, my o2 sensors were bad (downflows) and my MAF had a short voltage reading or something. any ideas? I cleaned out my maf with the contact cleaning spray
