My drivers side door doesnt latch when I close it. It closes completely and seems to be locked, but all you have to do is pull on the handle and the door opens easily. The power locks still work, so I figured it was the Door Latch. I took off the panel and began to unbolt the door latch. Once I had the bolts out I had to manuever the latch to take the bars connected to the handle and the lock. The bar connected to the handle was hard to get off so I took of the two wire connectors at the bottom of the latch and one of them was filled with this white goo stuff. I think thats my problem. I gotta replace that wire and wire connector. Its one of those plastic ones u gotta pry up and pull it out. Does anybody know what that wire is called, Im not gettin lucky at the local junkyards?
