2000 3.8 skipping at idle.
Ive changed plugs, wires and fuel injectors and have checked the coil.The cel comes on every now and then stating number 1 is misfiring.The compression is 130 and the ford co. can not find anything wrong. Please help.

Try a fuel pressure test.
If you have the tools try a leakdown test. |

Correct me if I'm wrong but a leak in the intake system can cause a misfire.. A car that came to our school shop had that problem and it was the intake gasket.. Hasn't missed a beat since
