new egr valve
still have my service engine soon light on, still pullin the same code i assume.
ima take her for a test drive and see if shes still acting up. ill let yall no how it goes. |

Why? The car knows there's a problem but it don't know when we fix it? Grr... LoL - Go to autozone

take the negatie battery cable off for20 minutes or so...then put the cable back on...Let the car run for 20 minutes without touching the throttle...
If you fixed the error then the light should nto come abck on... That will clear the code from your computer... |

I just had a similar problem with my car. I pulled an EGR code, had to replace a sensor.

ahh see i new to take the negative cable off but i didnt know for that long.
wut sensor was it? i might need to look into that. |

10-15 minutes without the cable will do find u don't need 20 minutes..... and always if u change a part u have to remove the negative cable for a while.. y the hell they made the car to detect the error but it cant detect the new part

the stock sensor was porly designed and they go out easy. my sensor went out to. $25 at auto zone, it takes 2 minutes to install. I did it in autozone parking lot

It was my DPFE sensor that went out on mine.
It cost me $70. I took it to my mechanic because he thought it might have been a bad EGR valve.
