my amp is a 1100 watt, and the subs are 2ohm. why?

Excess weight has a pretty big effect on mileage...

I knew someone in school that had a custom box made for his '94 convertible. We had to pull the box to run some wiring. Turns out the box was about 80lbs. It never went back in, and he picked up an extra 40 miles on a tank.
