Whistling is the air inlet BTW. Since it is bigger than the TB, it whistles.

...can't say Ive heard them in person...but from this vid...thrush's really don't sound like flow 40s all that much

it's his vid....i've had thrush welds before...they sound just like the 40's i've also had

Lol. I'm getting my new valves next Friday. The only thing left of the old heads will be the heads themselves. Getting valves, springs, seats/seals, retainers, and keepers. Then matched and a 3 angle and milled.
