electronics


can i chip my car and have it controled by a labtop?

what year?

if its a pre 96 then it has to have a chip burned for it no questions

after 96 you can get a chip or tuner.... most people will say tuner cuz it can be changed and isn't as permanent ... all thought it costs a bit more you can make your car more specified for you.... this is where the laptop comes in... the laptop is how you make minor changes to a flash tuner

there is a program "sniper" that can be used to for the laptop but u have to know what ur doing

yea SCT is one of the few that is pretuned... just for your car... other ones you or someone else has to write it for you and thats where the price difference comes in

get sct livewire tuner. u get like 2 or 3 tunes that the company will provide. unless u are hardcore into tuning and know exactly what ur doing, then get sniper or somethin like that for the laptop
