MAF thowing code?

my check engine light is coming on and i check it with my SCT tuner from AM and it says it my MAF code=p1100. i cleaned it off once by blowing on it. then the engine light went off for about 100 miles...what should i do?

Try replacing your MAF? If it keeps throwing a MAF code, then start there. It could be other things, but that would be my first attempt.

Possible Causes
Poor continuity through the MAF sensor connectors.
Poor continuity through the MAF sensor harness.
Intermittent open or short inside the MAF sensor

Google is your friend.

Seriously though change your MAF and use electric parts cleaner on the pig tails and some dialectic grease as well.

Yes it said it was intermittent
