i ask the question "what would it take to b able to beat a 99 GTP" and you guys settled on...
1. x- cal 2
2. Exhaust
3. pulleys
4. 4.10
5. posi
6. CAI
and a good tune

i now have all of that but the pulleys... do u guys still think i can take a stock one?

p.s. i have some other small mods like plugs and wires etc...

i actually would like to know the out come of that race cuz i have a friend who has a friend with a red GTP that wants to set up a race... which btw i would totally lose... so please tell me the out come and give me some hope

With the gears plus your TQ advantage I would think you best chance would be off the line

just do it. i think it would be interesting atleast. im still thinkin the gtp would win but ive never ridden in one so no idea how quick, or not quick they are.

My roommate has a GTP. They are quick cars. Weight hinders their performance alot. My roommate only has exhaust (adds next to nothing) and he ran a 14.7. They are fun, quick cars. I hope that helps.

they walk all over a stock six so take a guess on how it is after bolt-ons lol you will stand a bit better chance but i dont see you beating one.. i raced one with full bolt-ons and got walked but id love to see how you do

Plugs and wires are not modifications. but good list.

Only way to know is go try a GTP.

i added to that list because all of those mods on top of the one i added will probly give you about the same hp maybe like 5 less at the most. but if u do lose, just remember that your car is n/a and has much more potential left over than thats guys pontiac does
