engine stalling

i recently did the 4.3 stroker build on my 99. it started great and runs down the road perfect. however when i come to a stop after the car has warmed up the idle will start out high around 1400 rpm. after about 10 seconds it will drop down but initailly it will try to drop below its normal idle all the way down to 300 or 400. sometimes it catches its self and smooths out and idles just fine. other times it will stall out completly. anyone know what could be causing this?

Normal problem with the 3.8s. Usually a good IAC and MAF cleaning clears it up. That's where it's start if I was you. Carb cleaner for the IAC and electric contact cleaner for the MAF. Let the MAF dry well before you try to start the car.
