if you get a cam u will need new springs and rockers as well go with a nice beehive spring. it will give you a more aggressive exhaust note some more HP and more Lift.

ok so i seen a cam with like 118 beehive springs... then i seen one with like 900+ behive springs... what are they... and is 900 better than 100. what should i be looking for, for the best performance enhances... dont really care about the sound if i have to get a less performance cam to get better sound. so if i can get the best performance cam, with really good sound, that'll be best... price isn't an issue on the cam. but tell me the price anyways.

it depends on the type of cam you get depends on if you need heavier springs.
Are you gonna keep your car n/a? Or do a forced induction setup? If you go with forced induction you may as well just rebuild your heads, or buy new ones. Your gonna want some stainless steel valves so you don't burn them up. It really depends on the cam you get depends on if you need new valve springs or not. Talk to the guys at Comp cams or Delk performance. They know what they are talking about. |
