How can I tell if my gears have been changed?

So here's the deal, I bought my stang from a dealer and the kid who had it before me was somewhat into modding it. How can if he changed the gears? and also, he put dual exhaust on it, and I'd like to know how I can find out what of exhaust I have. I'm really new to this so help me out, thanks.

Let us know something like what is your crusing RPM's are at say 30 40 50 or so and what gear you are in and we can let you know.

Of course that is assuming your speedo was adjusted

There's a technique called "laying down" and by doing this you can just see the exhaust and look at the name...now if theres no name then obviously it's going to be hard for anyone to tell other then by design...but just do that first...im sure the mufflers say something on them...as for gears you would have to either drive and find out by what gear goes to what MPH or takes the gears out which of course wouldnt be your choice

"Enter the tire diameter in inches, the rpm's of the engine at entered speed as indicated by your speedometer in mph. This calculator is for a 1:1 final drive ratio."

is this 5th gear for manuals?

Hey does the tire size affect your ratio? cause ion the internet it asks for your old tire diameter and new tire diamater and then your current gear ratio..and then it gives you yoru new gear ratio..i had 15's..got 17's..and it says my gear ratio is 3.70

yes tire size will effect the axle rotation but your physical gear ratio will be the same. larger tire means your car moves farther for every rotation but acceleration will be marginally effected.
