battery light come on?
Whenever i floor it and get the RPMs up to like 5K-7K my battery light comes on... is this normal?

lol ok like 6.4k but it only comes on between like 5K and Redline, but once its below that it goes away

It's not normal. I had the exact same problem and it turned out the alternator wasn't regulating the voltage correctly at high RPM. Replaced the alternator and it's been fine ever since.
To be more specific it was dropping from around 13V of output to 8V. I datalogged it with my tuner and it would do that every time at high rpm

So new alternator?? or would it be fine if i only only get it up there like 4 times a month at the strip

I'd just replace it. Mine started to slowly get lower and lower until it was doing it at around 3500rpm. Plus my car runs so much better at high RPMs with the new one because of that.
