im telling ya, if the film is done properly it wont come off, that website i posted earlier has really high quality stuff and if you put it on with the soap and water solution its not gonna come off, im gonna be getting some myself and i wouldnt do it if i though it would come off, i am experience with the vinyls though so maybe thats why im so confident, IMO get the vinyls and make sure you put them on properly, you wont be dissappointed

you dont need one, you use a water solution that makes them moveable until you squeegy the water out, its really simple, i put my graphics on the side of my can and the hood and its no different...its a piece of cake, save some money and buy a bulk sheet for like $30 bucks at the link i posted, thats what im going to do eventually, im just working on bigger things right now, but trust, thats the way to go, it'll keep the beveled look of the taillights while still tinting them to 20% while the covers are just rounded and will most likely fly off

if you buy the bulk sheet then yeah you would have to cut it but it can easily be done with any razor blade, x-acto knife, etc if youdont want to make all the effort get the pre-cut ones for like 50-60 bucks, personally, i'd rather pay 30 and cut the damn stuff than 60 for someone else to cut it

you'd have to do lot of measuring and placement before actually installing them if you did cut them yourself and you would need more for the headlights as well...as for the headlights though, i dont suggest getting the vinyls, the covers for the headlights look good and fit great with zero chance of them coming off in the wind or whatever because the latch under the hood and cant be taken off unless its up...that what i have in the front right now, check my pics if you want to see em, they only run you about forty bucks on ebay

granted, with the headlights it does affect your vision at night a little but its not too bad, i've managed so far and im always driving where there arent any street lights or anything but since it does affect your vision you wouldnt want something as permanant as the vinyls, the covers can come off in one minute if need be but the vinyls are a one time shot obviously

if you get some mineral spirits form any paint store or harware store that should do it, if its latex based then used goof-off or goo gone, chance are though its oil based and mineral spirits is the way o go
