break dust guards

does anyone in here have break dust guards on their car, i heard they work like a charm, but they look like crap. besides, i know the look of slotted rotors and painted calipers looks much better, but just a thought...

it's a big round disk that covers all of your brake parts and everything to keep break dust from getting on your rims...

havent seen any but it sounds pretty pointless seeing as how brake dust simply wipes right off.

i heard that they make your brakes hotter because less air is getting to them to cool them off. I think I could deal with some dirty wheels in exchange for cooler brakes.

^ ya they are a bad idea, not only do they look like shit but they also keep your brakes hotter they they would normally be because they are inclosed and not as much air is getting to them.
