Loss of low end power

So every one says you lose power with LT's and exhaust and I have to say its def there...my power just comes higher in the rpm range. I raced a 5 speed 03 coupe last night It was even down low then I walked all over her in the upper rpms all the way untill I would let off...guess my car is gettin faster. Which brings me to my next point...I cant launch...If I hold the brake and gas to 1500rpm my tire spins...any ideas on that

hold the break harder or dont give it so much gas. or your breaks on your rear are worn to fuck and need to be replaced.

i have no idea maybe your packing more of a hp punch then i am whats ur mods bro im stock except for my sniper tune which BTW its a hell of a lot easer to burn out with i can feel the added power. and the throttle response. do you have gears? maybe thats why if u got 4.10's i can see you doing a smoke show pretty damn easily.

You could look into upgrading your rear brakes to the cobra size rotors which will give you a little more clamping effort to the rear tires. To do this mod I think all you need are the larger rotors, new pads, and an axle bracket at each side that relocates your stock calipers to use the larger rotors. There might be some small metal grinding too, but it's not that much if I remember right.

I would think it would fit with just 17in rims...

Yes. The rear Cobra setup is smaller than front and the smallest front rim size is 17".

im lost so your trying to get a higher launch RPM? ... and you have had the bottom end tuned to the best of its ability? not just raise the RPMs but more fuel and air? and ... move the spark a bit?

bro im on 9in wide tires in the back and i can do a 20second burnout, launch at 1500 and i spin as well. tires or suspension work it the only way around it or t-lok/8.8 rear

my 60foots are so ugly cuz my spins and slow launches. theres no way around it aside from tires or t/lok or suspension
