hey i got a v6 right now but im thinking of swapping it for an 04 mach 1 ... i know the mach 1's are in the middle of the gt's and cobras for those years ..... but which one would you guys say the mach one is closer to a gt or a cobra ?? specs would be nice

99-04 GT has 260
mach 1 has 300
cobra has 380? i believe... i have heard of them reaching 420 tho

it could smoke me so i guess that makes me dirt slow...lol... i test drove a mach 1 a few days ago... and they seem very fast... there is a GT that i really want to drive so i can compare the 2

i drove i think it was a 1999 trans am today... v8, its like the ram air or whatever. its my girlfriends friends (my friend too now) boyfriends car, she drove it 2day and let me drive it. i got 2 140 in b4 i finally decided yea if i get pulled over im in jail lol.

I have the keys to a ws6 firebird, that could smoke a cobra all day long

- hood is black widow, but i hate it because the center part is supposed to be cut out and i forgot to tell the body shop so i have to get it cut out....

- Paint was way too much we won't discuss it.....

Neither the mach 1 would be in between the cobra and the GT....

Cobra Underratedout of the factory (for insurance purposes) actual hp 420
mach1 underrated out of the facotory. 330hp gobbles of torque
