I dont think Ive ever seen a Mustang with t-tops. Lots of sunroofs but never a t-top. They dont make that a stock option do they? Only aftermarket??

It would be unique as hell. Dont you think it would be tough to do with the amount of curve on the top of the side windows? Well probably not now that I think of it... Ive seen a VW bug with Ts and that window is real curved.

well yea but if you look a cameros the have a pretty good arch to on the roof you could probably very carefully cut out the piece then weld brackets for latches to hold it on and add the weather stripping but i was thinking it might have to be rienforced at the top just in case if the car rolled

In my vert, if I roll that thing Im real worried. There doesnt seem to be much support. Im sure its designed different though and has to pass some kind of test. In fact, I looked at a lightbar thinking that would make me feel better and found out they were for "cosmetics" only. I think there may be extra reinforcement around my windshield for rollover.

Your probably right though, I'd find a way to reinforce it or put some kind of fabricated roll bar in there somehow.

hey guys, mustang had t-tops as an options in 1982 trough early 1988. they are rare actually, but the rarest are the '88. I'm a proud owner of an 1987 gt cobra (which is only one color body, not to mix with the 1993 cobra)
