Awkward gas mileage.

Okay, I get 14 mpg cruising and driving like a normal person but I get 18 mpg when I speed and drive like an asshole.

Any explainations why my gas is so irregular? And yes these are calculated and tested values. Not just exageration. My wife and I had this conversation, wife: "I think your car just wants to be unleashed, it feels like you're holding it back, maybe wants you to show it's cock sometimes." me: "My car doesn't have any, it's slow as all hell it's just a v6." wife: "I said it had a cock not balls." Lmao.

Could be just driving fast is keeping your RPM's in a spot where your mileage is best for your gas, and when you drive normal, your are just not in a good RPM range.

18 mpg is still a little low for a 6.

I was just thinking that too. I get about 16-18mpg. I can get about 20mpg if I drive easy.

What RPM range do you usually keep it in when cruising? I know mine doesn't mind being revved and since it's a manual keeping the RPMS high while coasting allows the ECU to cut fuel completely and let the wheels turn the engine.

Also tailgating can increase your MPG if you drive like an ass.

I've been getting 26-29mpg lately

highway or all city/town driving? mine gets like 25-26 mpg highway and 18-20 in the city. It all depends on how quickly you accelerate, not so much your speed. I get better mileage at a little higher then 45 than at 35-45.

I get 18mpg at best with 4.10s, exhaust, tune, cai, and 18" wheels. There's a spot on a local highway that has a stop sign on it. If I run 1st, 2nd, and 3rd up to 6k from a dead stop I can almost watch my gas gauge go down

Why do our six bangers get bad gas milage? makes no sense. Lol.

I thought I needed a tune or something was wrong but apperantly everybody else is getting the same, maybe it's just our cars.
