spinning tires way too easily?

i have 3.73 gears and exhaust on my car.

but i took out the spare tire in my trunk and replaced the back seats in my car with a rear seat delete. Is it possible that my car is too light. It spins tires with the throttle barely halfway down on launch. Does anyone else experience this/is this normal?

also would a tune help give my car a better throttle response because it seems like there is a slight delay in me hitting the petal and my car taking off?

could be bc of lack of weight, when i stripped mine down (no spare, no back seat, nothin in the back) i spun a lot easier. then i put my sub and custom built rear seat delete and it added a little weight back in, but yea less weight, spin easier. a tune would help throttle response as far as i kno

do you have t-lok? if not that will help a good bit, also some nice tires will help, a Tuner or a CAI will help with throttle response.

thats your problem get the t-lok, your gears are accelerating but the car can't keep the power planted.

...damnit your doin it again. Sayin things before I get the chance to. Lol j/k...kinda.

+1. You shoulda waited and gotten a t-lok and had then both installed at the same time. The power needs to be equalized with new gears to handle the faster acceleration.

his car can't adapt to not having a t-lok with steeper gears. He has to launch lighter, because everything is goin to that one wheel.

yes true, but YOU can adapt to your car. not the other way around, the gears are built to accelerate. so launch lighter and lean into it, might not be as good times but it will save tires in the end(brittany spears needs the rubber man)

Launching with gears will not work at all without t-lok.
