If he wants an intercooler, too, Procharger is the answer. =]

the stock internals can take 15 psi? so if we do the kit thats intercooled and sitting at 11 psi then the car should be good? what kind of power can the stock internals take?

dude. dont risk it. forge the internals. lol. get the intrercooled kit from rpm for $3800 and everyone will be happy. lol. Even though the system only runs on 9 psi, dont risk it. get internals. Also, have him by the optional 11 psi pulley.

i've heard of blown pistons at 8 psi... you are going to need low compression pistons and forged rods maybe even want to get your cylinder walls sleeved

11psi will be ok for a short while, but forge everything as soon as he can, and the auto I wouldn't take over 350 and a 5-speed 425ish

Vortech sells some good kits too, do NOT doubt Vortech. its cheaper too

VMPtunning sells a complete kit (7,9,11psi)for $4k, you wont need anything else aside from forged internals if you want them.

for 7-9psi i wouldnt get it. 11psi i'd think about it

comes with this exactly:
11psi ATI Procharger P1SC 2 core Tuner Kit
Custom VMP Tuned SCT X-Calibrator 2 Flasher/Datalogger

Innovate Motorsports LC-1 Wideband

6 - 42lb injectors with correct connector for 99-04

310lph pump

MAF Extender (use your factory MAF and this will keep it from pegging and allow proper tuning)

VMP PCV Delete Kit

Set of 6 AWSF-22C Spark Plugs (2 steps colder than stock)

its $4,400 about
Vmptunning sells good stuff

your telling me that I will blow a piston running 8psi with the intercooled SC setup...but theres V6 mustangs running 10+ boost on stock motors with Turbo setups and they are fine ?.....I dont think my 3.8 will have much worries running 8psi....especially with the air/water intercooler and a nice heat exchanger out front....and I think I know about Super6...but thanks
