windstar system too lean?
I installed a windstar about a month ago. Got my mils in the other day for my longtubes. But my SES light just came back on throwing a system too lean code on both banks. Pretty sure I don't have a vacuum leak. Any ideas?

Can you hear any popping through the intake? Maybe the 02's are bad
and are reading incorrectly.

Sounds like I have a slight exhaust leak on the drivers side, would that cause a system too lean? I would think that would cause a system too rich code?
I'm gonna check for vaccum leaks tomorrow and see if I can figure out where my leak is coming from. |

If you have an exhaust leak, it can pull air INTO the exhaust, then the o2s read it thinking it is too lean. Fix the exhaust first.

It sounds like its coming from my driver's side longtube. Should I pull it off and retighten it or what?

Did you re-torque the bolts after a few drive cycles? With new headers you want to run it to op-temp, let it cool, and do this about 3-4 times, then re-torque the bolts.

I found a pretty large vac leak coming from where the spacer on the windstar mounts up to the manifold. Should fix it. Also retorqued my headers. Making a gasket now hopefully should fix my problem.
