I got a 7.5 non trac, and buyin a rearend from a 98 GT, was wondering if I could just swap the R&Ps out versus the whole difs, either way is possible because its a complete dif. What ya'll got to say?

Swap the entire rear and replace the gears so you know they are new. I recommend this because alot of times rear ends are close to failing when people swap them and it always happens at the worst time like a rainstorm.

Holy shit...I saw that 8.8 you were looking at haha.I just realized your in ks... I just picked mine up in lawrence out of an 02 GT....But yeah, buy that 8.8 and put gears in it, maybe a rebuild kit, and then swap it out. Wont have to change the drive shaft either..

by the way, i know the 95s have terrible stock gears....Trust me, get 3.73s....hell, with the 8.8 you can even get 3.90s if your afraid to go to 4.10s

buy the gears and rebuild kit online...Americanmuscle is a good site...as for tires, id roll 245s up front, and 275s in the back
