engine upgrade gonan cost more...


the ehgine im thinking about getting is gonan cost more then i spent on the car to buy it lmao. i heard that u need a whole new comp if u even get a 4.2L swamp. if so how much they run?

not true. if anything you can have it flashed

you wont need a new computer though..its just a stroked motor

actually idk you have a 95....it might be different for your computer
idk if its 94, 95 or 96 that have the different computer

yea i dunno what this guy wastalkiing about cux comps run about 1500 here. im trying to look for asecond hand engine of a car and take whar ever i need for it

96 and later have the differnt computer... in 94 and 95 they used the OBD1 and switched when they switched the GT engines... not trying to say your wrong or anything... but ya know just sayin

my opinion... grab a computer out of a junked 96-97 stang those are the only two that will work... don't want a 98 cuz they used the fuel system in the new edge stangs... and 99 and up wont work cuz its a different engine style... kinda ... the fuel and the intake is different... so the computer would have to be reflashed for all of that...
