Whining noise coming from engine PS pump?
Sound like the power steering pump. when i rev the engine I hear the squeal and also when I turn corners I can hear. Getting annoyed by it.
Do I have to change the belt or change the pump? Does it mean my ps pump is bad? It doesnt whine all the time just mostly in park while reving engine or when turn corners and accelerating sometimes. Its a ford thing. The PS pump just whines. Can't really do much about it.

It whines but check your fluid level. If its low put some Ford ATF in it.

Get use to it, changing out the pump/flushing the fluid and replacing will make it quieter for a very short period of time. The noise will come back. It's just something all of us drown out over a period of time. It was actually the reason why I got exhaust work done first.

I might put a new engine in next summer, so maybe by then i won't be able to hear it?
