for all who are interested...i just ordered my sequential tail lights. after some hassling with the customer service rep, i got them to price match the cost of blueoval's sequential tail lights kits. i've purchased from AM before, so i am really happy this worked out. of course i want to give repeated service and they have just been bumped up on my customer loyalty list

My $50 eBay sequentials works fine, no problem whatsoever... Easy 15-20 min install that involves a bit of wire splicing. I did hear about a "modified" flasher that replaces the factory one. It's supposed to slow down the flash rate to give your sequentials the "chase" effect... Of course the amber turn signals (front) would blink slower than it normally does... I'll try to find a link...

Mustang Geek why in the fuck would they come stock if they are illegal ... go ask Ford why and stop asking us ...

Next, go meet 6er

and stop making millions of threads on our forum, there is a search function for a reason.

HId comes in newer cars but are illegal on cars that dont come out the factory with it right?

Your wrong. The turning signal is a separate lightbulb of the brake light. So when your at a stoplight brakes applied. Your brakelights will show and your turning signal. The turning signal is the middle bulb out the 3 and the brake light is the outer 2 when turning.

Now with the sequential signal all three lights are the turning signal so your brake lights won't show.

Now with the newer mustangs that comes with it. The brakes lights will show and the turning signal but not with those aftermarket kits, thats why I asked if it was illegal and I'm pretty sure they are not

you're compareing apples to oranges kid...HIDs in oe situations are in projectors (unless you're in a prius which have specially designed housings)...i will say this only once so i hope you understand...

So to answer your question, it's legal. If you look up textbook definitions for blinkers they'd qualify. What do pickup trucks do when they have 1 bulb for brakes, blinkers, and tail lights?

Believe me, its legal. I have a 2011 GT in my family too. The brake lights go out when the blinkers on, the tail lights always stay on blinkers or not.

Its just the rate of speed the taillights "chase". the slow kits do it slower.

i dunno if their vids do since i didn't watch them...but it is a notiable difference...you just have to decide which you like more...i like the fast ones (which is what i went with)...just a preference is really all the speed is

I didn't see any videos on this thread that compare the two. easy to find on youtube im sure. just search relay sequential mustang tail lights or 99-04 mustang sequential tail lights (fast).
