Thanks six banger. How do I raise it?

And the 12 point suspension wasn't for 12 points for speeding either.
2 points for doing 42 in a 35
2 points for a B.S. red light camera that gave me a ticket for turning right on red.
4 points for not paying the red light camera ticket and getting a administrative suspension.
2 points for "rolling" a stop sign that was knocked down by a snow plow.
2 points for failure to control on an icey hill.
you do not have much luck with the popo it seems

why would you want to rev over 4k in park or neutral? are you trying to blow you engine or do you plan on droping it in drive and tearing your tranny out? there is a reason its on so best advice is leave it alone. It wont bog down while your driving so its not effecting performance. If you must take it off then a tuner will do it. personally I could think of better things to spend 400 bucks on than something to make my car rev higher in my driveway...

Most any hand held tuner can defeat the top speed governor on these cars. I'd say do so at your own risk. I insist that 120 MPH is all the average driver can handle safely.

And I admit the governor is disabled on my car.

A stock V6 drive shaft after 10 years of driving is a POS. It is very likely to already be twisted somewhat. Even going 100 MPH on a worn out wiggly noodle is reckless. I'm not sure where I read it, but I remember something about it being rated new for about 110 MPH.

so is the OP asking about a "rev limiter" or a "speed limiter" either way a tuner will take care of both but taking the speed limiter off isnt going to stop it from bogging down in park.

OP is banned due to conduct on here and pointless thread trolling...so it doesn't really matter now lol

Don't feel bad. When I lived in Virginia I got a reckless driving ticket for hydroplaning and running off the road. I wasn't even speeding and the cop even said it looked like I wasn't.
