Special edition or something?

hey i'm new to this forum and this question has been on my mind a long time. it's a 2000 v6 manual mustang. in other v6 mustangs that i have seen very few of them have the same rims that i do and a lot of them don't have the spoiler. im not sure about the white trim on the bottom of the door. any ideas?

yep that's another standard wheel...you have one set and the tribars are the other...now if you had an '04 you'd have a special edition wheel

chrome ponies...

lol so change everything you say...

Actually OP i wouldn't do them black...gun metal would look much better on green then black..hypercoated looks the best when you do look for new wheels

lol i'm going to repaint the car next spring so i will probably remove the stripe then, but i kinda like the spoiler. and my sisters bf is hooking me up with HID's high and low beams for $62, but i will probably smoke the headlights and taillights at some point. but i was going to use duplicolor's wheel paint. is that a good paint to use?

a little pricey for the HIDs but it depend on the kit...if you're repainting the car either remove the wing or move it back 3"...as for the headlights...don't smoke chrome lights...my friend did that on his green v6 and it looked bad bad...thank god he bought standard black housings not too long ago.

the kit he is getting me is the complete kit with everything, all i have to do is tie it into my headlight switch, not that hard to do. and i haven't decided completely on leaving the wing or not. and is there anyway to make the headlights dark and look good but keep it legal?

still a little pricey...my HIDs after shipping were around $20 cheaper, but if you don't want to wait the week for shipping then go with whatever he has...just make sure there's a warrenty with them

the answer the tint question is no...once you tint them even a tiny bit they are illegal...and once you put the HIDs in they are illegal

well the cops don't bother the people down here with them so it isn't a big deal. and the HIDs will have a 2 year warranty and its $62 shipped and they are high and low beam HIDs not just the low beam

i know what they are...the reason i ask is because some brands only give a few years and brands like DDM and VVME offer lifetime

at the time that i last bought a kit it was $25 for the kit and $15 to ship...granted that was 12 months ago lol

looks like the kits are $35 now + shipping for a single beam kit (seriously who needs a high beam with HIDs...and i live out in the country with no lights lol)

dual beams are $55 + shipping...so basically in the same price range just with a bigger warrenty then the one you're looking at already...but i'll say again dual beams are pointless in our cars with HIDs...the housings just scatter the light worse then ever on high beam (i've had a VVME hi/lo set).

i have never had an HID kit in my car and i do a mix of city and country driving and the low beams are plenty with our cars? the real reason i want them is because my headlights are really weak and i can only see like 20 feet ahead of me at night XD and the high output bulbs are just a little less than these so i was like what the hell.

lol high output halogens suck...but just a little less then oe halogens

with HIDs you'll actually have to aim your lights low as to not get flashes constantly because the low beams are so bright lol
