wierd clanking/rattling when accellerating hard

I hear a strange noise when im at about 3500-4k rpms and higher sometimes. its very intermittent it seems like. i usually dont beat up the car that much but i was getting up to speed from a stop on the highway and i noticed the noise. it seems like it happens in second and third gear. any ideas?

Sounds like it's coming from almost under the car, just past the engine? I've got that too. Happens mid to high RPMs in 3/4th and very low RPMs in 2nd. I had a buddy crawl around under my car while I revved it a bit (then we switched) and I'm thinking it's one of my passenger side cats. Don't know for sure though

im hoping its not transmission related or possible detonation or what not. i have to do my plugs and wires soon so ill see if that helps any. but hopefully its exhaust or something. and a video wont help, its not loud enough over the car and windows down with wind unfortunately
