What should come next?

Well i have a $300 budget for upgrades to my car. I already have a divorced dual exhaust and a BBK fenderwell CAI. I am kinda stuck on what i should do next. any ideas?

buy a used handheld tuner, or udp, there are a few other small things you can do too. even just a tune up might help for all we know. like new plugs, oil change with filter, stuff like that

im not sure that i want a tuner because i have a manual car. and the car just recently had a tune-up. if i do get the tuner how much hp should i expect? around 10?

much much less hp then that, but it's good to have around for mulitple reasons...from reading codes and killing them...to retunes after mods are added...plus if you ever want gears you'll like having it ready to go

i already have a code reader and gears aren't coming around for a while. but what i am basically asking, what will be the best upgrade i could do to the car that will either make it look better, or gain as much hp as i can for $300.

well i am thinking about going to a junkyard and finding a 4.2l f-150 motor (since im at 135k on my 3.8) and rebuilding it and as i'm rebuilding putting a cam in it, p&p the heads and intake with forged internals then putting in an 8.8 rear end. But i need to get a job before i do that, so any more suggestions?

learn that for that money you won't get much...here are some ways to break it down..

looks for $300
-mach 1 chin ($58 @ LMR+shipping)
-mach grill delete ($69 @ AM)
-HID headlights ($40 @ DDMtuning.com+shipping)
-Cut a coil off your springs ($50ish alignment afterward)

power for $300
-tuner

I know that $300 isn't much for performance mods and i know that. I was just wandering whats on the market for that amount of money. and for looks i already have my HIDs on the way. I was thinking about just getting either a tuner or a steeda tri-ax short throw and a mach 1 grill delete.

no clue...why don't you just call an emissions office or your local DMV for what it takes to pass

yeah i just looked at my inspection sheet and they check for cats so looks like im going to get lt's and find another $180 for hi-flow cats. do you know if someone make an x-pipe for lt's?

dunno...most people just have a shop fab one up from scratch or take one to be made to work...

Pick one, chances are you wont find one thing that does both for you. for 300.00 i would look around for Longtubes, that will add something in two areas, performance and sound.
