SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT

HI IM NEW HERE AND THIS IS MY FIRST TOPIC SO IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ME OUT...MY SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT TURNED ON SO I CHECKED THE TROUBLE CODES AND MY 5TH CYLINDER WAS MSFIRING SO I CHANGED THE SPARK PLUG AND THAT SEEMED TO SOLVE PROBLEM BUT NOW MY SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT WONT TURN OFF ...I TRIED DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY TO SEE IF THAT WOULD WORK BUT IT DIDNT SO ANY OTHER TIPS??

you might be throwing a new code, get it rescanned to be sure!

If you are not throwing a new code, check the Ford DTC and recalls for your car, because a computer programming code error by ford has been known to trigger the P0300-P0308 codes for misfires on their vehicles under false pretenses. If it is the same code and you have replaced spark plug/wire and you have no pressure loss of cylinder leak, it could just be that the computer has a messed up tune. It could aslo be as serious as a head gasket leak if your block is leaking and running weak.

HEY THANX FOR ALL THE HELP ...THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT TURNED OFF THIS MORNING AND RESCANNED IT JUST TO MAKE SURE AND ITS GONE SO THE PROBLEM IS FIXED I GUESS IT WAS JUST A MATTER OF TIME ...I WAS JUST WORRIED CUZ I JUST HAD THAT ENGINE SWAPPED IN SO I THOUGHT IT MIGHT HAD BEEN THE NEW ENGINE BUT THANX FOR ALL THE HELP
